NØTTRUP SALES / 1:1 SALES DEVELOPMENT

Do you want to know why the technique works, not just memorize it?

  • Why does silence work?
  • Why does pressure create resistance?
  • Why does status matter?
  • Why does rejection change your behaviour?
  • What does evolution have to do with any of it?

And what happens when knowing the technique still isn’t enough?

Maybe you need better skills.

Maybe you need better habits.

Maybe you need to understand yourself better.

Most sales training has to teach a room.
I only have to understand you.

That’s why I work 1:1.

A real sales moment

“That’s expensive.”

Two salespeople know the same negotiation framework.

One stays calm and gets curious.

The other starts defending the price.

Same knowledge. Different behaviour.

Both of them run the correct sales skills. One is afraid of rejection. That is not a skillset problem. It is internal.

Maybe the closing was never the problem. Maybe you rushed discovery because silence made you uncomfortable. The buyer never fully explained the problem. The value never became clear. Then price appeared.

You felt the hesitation. Rejection felt close. So you spoke more. Now both people are reacting instead of thinking.

Fear of rejection? Need for approval? Weak preparation? Not enough reps? Poor discovery?

The best sales technique in the world is useless if you cannot execute it when the pressure starts.

1:1 development

Bring me the call you lost.

  • The customer conversation.
  • The deal.
  • The follow-up you avoided.
  • The price conversation.
  • Your routines.
  • The problem you keep repeating.

We look at what is actually happening. Then we train it.

Human behaviour

Do you understand yourself?
Do you understand what you're actually good at?

I have spent years studying sales, psychology, human behaviour, evolutionary theory, decision-making, status, fear, rejection, trust, attention, habits and performance.

Not as decoration. I want to understand why people change when pressure appears.

  • Why do you know what to do and still fail to do it?
  • Why do you fill the silence?
  • Why does the last rejection enter the next call?
  • Why do you avoid the most important call of the day?
  • Why does the buyer suddenly become defensive?

Pressure changes the conversation

Your customer can feel when you need the sale.

  • You speak faster.
  • You explain too much.
  • You stop listening.
  • You fill silence.
  • You discount.
  • You avoid disagreement.

When you feel rejection coming, your nervous system can move before your sales technique does. The buyer feels the pressure and may become more defensive.

The goal is not manipulation. The goal is enough trust, clarity and safety for the customer to think and make an actual decision.

Training philosophy

Be willing to sound bad to become good.

If you need to look good while learning, you will protect your ego instead of improving your skill.

Roleplay. Feedback. Failure. Again.

People I've trained

From the people in the room.

“Since we started the program, our revenue has doubled.”

I come from the artist and circus world and had practically no background in sales.

I knew what we could deliver, but I struggled to control the customer conversation, hold the price, and explain the value of our product in a way that made the customer confident in the decision.

After 10 sessions with Mathias, sales has become something I actually understand and can work with.

I have become markedly better at price negotiation, customer dialogue, and showing the customer why our solution is the right choice for them.

Since we started the program, our revenue has doubled.

“It has made me stronger in the part of the business where technical skill alone is not enough.”

I have always been strong technically and good with the AI solutions themselves. The challenge was more the commercial side: understanding what the customer actually needs, asking the right questions, and getting the customer to understand the value of something that can quickly become technical and complex.

Working with Mathias has made me far sharper in the customer dialogue. I have become better at listening, at understanding the problem behind the problem, and at communicating the solution in a way that makes sense to the customer.

It has made me stronger in the part of the business where technical skill alone is not enough.

Frederik, Founder, AI company

“I feel far more that I negotiate as a professional instead of just hoping the customer says yes.”

As a dancer I am used to being strong in my craft. But when the conversation turned to price, I struggled to stand behind my own value.

I would quickly end up over-explaining, becoming unsure, or moving too fast onto the customer's price.

I bought five sessions with Mathias with one focus: price negotiation.

We worked concretely on how I talk about price, how I find out what the customer is actually buying, and how I can stay calmer in the negotiation without feeling like I have to defend myself.

It has changed the way I enter those conversations. I feel far more that I negotiate as a professional instead of just hoping the customer says yes.

“Some of the employees are now at up to three times their previous monthly revenue on add-on products.”

We wanted to increase revenue per customer in our lighting store without making the sale pushy or artificial.

I started with three sessions myself and then bought five individual sessions for employees in the store.

The focus was on understanding the customer better, asking stronger questions, and getting better at naturally identifying the add-on products that actually make sense for the customer.

What has been interesting is how much of a difference relatively small changes in sales behaviour have made.

Some of the employees are now at up to three times their previous monthly revenue on add-on products.

It has not been about pushing more through. It has been about getting better at the conversation itself.

Mikkel T., Retail / lighting store

“The best thing about the program is that after 10 years in sales I again feel like a salesperson in development.”

I have been in sales for around 10 years.

At some point you reach a level where the usual sales courses and standard advice do not really move anything anymore. I felt like I was starting to repeat what I already knew.

I bought 10 sessions with Mathias, and the work with NRPQ in particular gave me a new layer to work with.

It has made me more conscious of my questions, how I listen, and how I lead the conversation without falling back into old automatic sales patterns.

The best thing about the program is that after 10 years in sales I again feel like a salesperson in development.

I have something new to train on.

Companies / group training

Your people may sell every day without ever being taught how selling works.

Two small changes can make your employees double their sales.

This is for companies that want sales training for a group. One team, several teams, or a whole sales department.
